I found the proteins to be very dry and the sides too salty. We also weren’t fans of the service. I had high hopes that Reno would get decent barbecue.. Still no luck.
I thought it was greatbad reviews are liarsclick on the users of the bad reviews,you will see that reviews 7 restaurants in one dayhow is that possible?also their accounts were made recentlythere are people in reno who don’t like chains.well guess what chains are consistence. servers there are required to respect the costumers.honestly some of these mom and pop places in reno suck. they mean and very rude.
Superb BQ at Famous Daves. The food was great . Sabina our waitress was on it from the get go with great service. I ordered a BQ lettuce wrap and my husband a more traditional BQ dish and both were delish! The sauces and meat were the best of the best. I would recommend Famous Daves to anyone who loves BQ.
Not a good BBQ place!. Stay home! Get out the grill! You can do so much better than this in your own backyard. The food is very mediocre; if you are looking for quality DON’T GO HERE. This place is a chain and tastes like one(in case you didn”t know).
The atmosphere was great, the service was outstanding and the food was phenomenal! Can’t wait to go back for more.
Totally Disappointed-Horrible. I looked forward to them opening, because I enjoyed them at the BOTW. What a disappointment. I tried them for lunch recently. My visit started with a long wait. When we finally got a table there was another long wait to be served or acknowledged. We ordered off the lunch menu, and the amount of food was more of a snack size than lunch. I had the brisket, which was just okay, but there was only a couple of ounces on a piece of bread.My companions had the pork with the same story, but it was a combination of dry, salty and fatty. The muffins were okay and I guess meant to try to fill you up, but other than that a disappointment. The ribs that one of us had were nothing like they serve at the cook off, dry and hard to chew. It wasn’t worth the price or the hassle. We will not be going back.
This place is the best!!!!!!! Awesome food, a fantastic staff, and the management really knows what they’re doing!!! You don’t just get a meal there, you get am experience that you will remember for a long time!! I highly recommend Famous Dave’s in Reno!!!
