I stopped in after a night on the town and had a breakfast special. Needless to to say it was not a disappointment. Even though the establishment has the atmosphere of a typical diner, the food, service, and the prices were reasonable. Some items can be pricey however, overall…a great diner experience.
I absolutely love this place.. When you go to a dinner, this is what you expect. Some things can be pricey, but for the most part are an incredible value. Not to mention, they make one of the best milkshakes in Reno. And not only the best, also one of the biggest. The charm of a place like the Gold & Silver Inn, is that it just has the perfect ambiance of a seedy diner.
Great memories. Used to come hang out here very late after work for coffee and burgers with friends. This place is great and I love that the wait staff is gruff, that’s the charm of the place. They were never rude but they definitely tell it like it is. If you want happy meal smiles and ultra perky bright eyed tip hungry service this is not the place for you. If you want a truly oldschool cafe where greasy food and attitude are the thing then you’re in the right place.
Way overpriced for cheap food. Food was not good by any means service was bad too, waitress was rude and simple breakfast food took forever. I could go to dennys and get better service and a way better price and walk out happy.
