Noodles with Shrimp and Scallops. Not on the menu…I told the order taker what I was in the mood for and they happily made it for me!22 Mar, 2015Harrahs Casino Joy Luck Noodle Bar is just the spot for 24/7 access to oodles of noodles. Need to carb up for a marathon–they got that. Jonesing for Mongolian BBQ–come on in. Searching for yummy drunk food–yer darn straight, this is the place! However, leave the kiddos at home…no children allowed. Nestled inside the casino, this eatery is casual and very reasonably priced. Staff busily worked, but took time to patiently describe menu items. Food was decent. Locals with the casino card and local sticker get discounts!!!

Terrible Service. The benchmark of most of the casino restaurants is excellent service but this place always has the worst staff working. Their soup is actually pretty good (the Wor Wonton is among the best I’ve had) with all of them being pretty simply yet flavorful. I’ve never had any of the other items such as pad thai or shrimp with walnuts. But the last time I was here, I sat for 5 minutes before my order was taken. Despite sitting at a table, the waitress stood at the cash register and yelled out how much I owed and then stood there while she waited for me to leave my table and bring it to her. The soup making is quick, but while I ate, she stood behind the counter doing nothing. She never checked on me, asked if I needed anything, or even acknowledged my presence. I sat eating, while she either stared silently at me or looked bored.I will be very unlikely to ever return. Even if I’m staying at Harrah’s with no car, there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance.
