Excellent food! Been there 10+ x & never been disappointed. Service is very good. Seafood is outstanding if $$$, meatballs are very tasty $$. Would highly recommend to visitors.

The food was authentic, homemade and very good. From the capresse appetizer to the chocolate salted cheesecake everything was impecably prepared and delicious. Arrived at opening so the service was very good until it got busy then the server was a bit stressed and didn’t have much time for us. All in all I highly reccomend La Famiglia for a great Italian dinner.

Best pasta. Seriously have not had this great of Italian food since I was in Little Italy in NYC.

I haven’t eaten at La Familia in about four years. The new restaurant maintains the same close intimate feel as the old one with a better location. My wife and I started with the mushroom gorgonzola polenta. It was creamy with a little bit of firmness to hold it together, not soupy. My wife had cannelloni. Pasta was fresh and and soft, melted in your mouth. The marinara was vibrant with good tomato flavor. I had the gnocchi. Cooked exceptionally well. Moist, delicate with great flavor. Do the traditional with pesto. Amazing basil and pine nut flavors. I read one review about how this restaraunt was slow. Yes, but it is intended to be a traditional Italian style meal. Start with appetizer, salad, entree, dessert. They dont deviate, so dinner is going to take an hour at least. Very enjoyable and great food.

Terrible. We were at the restorante last night before the Reno Phil. We had 5:30 reservations and were seated immediately, we were given 2 menues for 4 people; we shared them ordered and 2 1/2 hrs. later we still did not have our food. We spoke to the owner and he hollored at us and was so rude, he told us they overbooked, which was not our fault. We left without food and we will never go back!

Amazing food! Tiramisu was the best I have had in a long time. The service was as wonderful as the food. Make sure Lindsey tajes care of you. She is helpful and very good at making suggestions!

The food is too rich for me. Always gives me heartburn afterwards. Prices are too high. Also the new place is too trendy, old place was more cozy and homey. I think Italian restaurants should feel like home.
