Awful Awful. The first place I went for food on my visit to Reno. The burger was tasty, though I wish I would have known that it came with a pound of fries. That is a ridiculous amount for your average person. At least I’ll know for next time. I always appreciate a good greasy burger and this place did not disappoint. I can see why it is a Reno icon.

This was on friday the 15th MARCH 2013 One of the servers was complaing to the other employess about her job. The only one who even noticed us was Penny. This was about 4pm that day. The next saturday one of the girl’s wanted wings. This was at 1:30PM.So we decided to give it another chance. The service was worst the girl’s there practically threw the ranch dressing at her. My friend is cute maybe they were jelous. The gave her rude looks. But there was a positive side the food. And the crowd there was very social. They were fun. The bartender to was ok. But overall awful service. They need to get a new staff really except for Penny.
Bloody Mary. Wander into the attached Casino and have a bloody mary. Best I have ever had. And at a great price too.
This place is amazing. Hole in the wall in the back of a small casino but you must go here. Never been disappointed.
An awful, awful/awful experience. Just to add to my review earlier this evening, look at the dates of the past reviews. I agree, they were great in 2010 and before.05 Aug, 2012Going Downhill. I have been eating Awful Awful’s from this place for 22 years and it was always great. I would take out-of-towners all the time. After I went last summer, I noticed it wasn’t as good as usual, I forgot about it, after all, mistakes can happen. I went tonight after a concert, I left the concert early to beat the crowd. There was one couple in front of me, but I noticed that 1/2 of the bar stools were empty (the place has always been packed, that’s why I wanted to beat the crowd). I ordered my Awful Awful without onions. I just happened to look at the time in on the receipt, it took 22 minutes to get my order (to go). When I got to open the box I was very disappointed. They pride themselves with the fact they give you a ton of fries with your burger (now up to $7.00) and there was maybe a handful of fries. The lettuce had slipped out of the burger and when I lifted the bun, there was a huge stack of onion, the patty was smashed real flat and broken on the edges and over-done. It will probably be several years before I return. No wonder the bar stools were half empty, the place has gone way downhill!! I was going to complain directly to them and give them a chance to respond, but I guess they aren’t professional enough to even have a web site. A really awful-awful experience.
