Los Compadres Foothill. I’ve enjoyed Los Compadres Restaurant on Foothill ever since it opened. Recently, they hired an obnoxious, foul mouthed bartending Gringo who clashes with the mellow atmosphere I used to enjoy there. I tend to avoid the place when he’s working.
First off, the staff are so nice!! They are friendly and want to make sure your meal is perfect. The food is also good, too.

Not a good place for lunch. Just finished lunch at this restaurant and not happy. We had such delayed service that our lunch hour was over before our food was served. The food was bland, which was a huge disappointment after such a long wait. The waitress was nice, but seemed overwhelmed and brought us a bean burrito when we ordered a beef burrito. Had high hopes for this place as it is close to work, but will not be back when I could get cheaper, faster, flavorful food from the local Taqueria.
Very good and authentic. One of the best in Reno.
