Albondigas soup. The best albondigas soup I have had in a long time.

Paying for cheese. If you like your Mexican food drowning in cheese, then come here. The deep fried tortilla for my chimichanga was nonexistent and was replaced by slab of melted cheesethis is all I could taste. I heard other people around complaining of similar things. The price was too high for low quality Mexican food.

Not good at all. We have eaten at Mi Casa Too many times with friends. We don’t know why anyone likes the place, the prices are too high and the food has very little flavor. Super Burrito is less than half the price and so much better. There are so many other Mexican restarants in Reno, than Mi Casa Too. Don’t know why anyone goes there. We don’t plan on going back – ever!

Not recommended. When I first arrived in Reno in 1990 I ate at Micasa Too often. I must not have known what good Mexican American food can taste like. First of all, I don’t think the building of the interior has changed – for the good – since that first 1990 meal. The interior is ugly, not in good repair, and gives me the feeling it hasn’t been cleaned well in a long time. The service is usually good – but never better than average. The food embodies what marginal Mexican American food is – oven-hot plates of flavorless frijoles, dry rice, and a mound of protein covered in a heavy sauce. If you are looking for good Mexican American food, Bertha Miranda’s is one step up. El Adobe is two or three steps up. And – gasp – I like Chevy’s – one of the few chain restaurants I will eat at in Reno.
