Go for the Dark & Stormy drink!! Fabulous. All was good but the grilled cheese. Needs to be served on French Bread, not the thick, tasteless bread they serve it on, yuck The apple was also sliced too thin. Order the pulled pork. Was great.
Stays on my A list. I’ve been here three times now, and had a good experience each time. The last one was a few weeks ago. I needed some decent food for me in the late afternoon … And some good comfort food to take to my husband up in the hospital. He had back surgery the day before.Even though I was a solo dinner at an odd time. The staff was gracious and welcoming. That speaks volumes. Food is always good. Servings are ample but not too much, since I’m not into huge portions. Little desserts are just right. Really a homemade quality but amped up. A nice balance between comfort and chi-chi. The bar offers some excellent concoctions that are really well thought out … Not just slinging goofy stuff together just to see what might happen. It,s cozy but not fancy. You can be yourself and be comfortable here.Prices are reasonable.

I was looking for a place to grab some food late on a Saturday night. I didn’t want diner or casino food, so I called Midtown Eats. They were still open at 10:30 and were very welcoming. I ordered the steak and frites (to go). The staff was very pleasant and the food was prepared in a decent amount of time. Since I was there by myself, one of the waiters was willing to walk me to my car, about a half block away. Can’t believe how sweet they were, the decor and atmosphere were very modern without being uncomfortable, and the steak was delicious! Nice to know there are good people and good food available late in Reno!
This is a very cool, quirky little place with amazing food and great service. My husband and I went for Sunday brunch (got there by 9:30 and got a table, but it filled up fast,) and both loved our dishes. The house Bloody Mary’s are to die for!
