The Answer is Not More Cheese. We came to this restaurant with high expectations given the awesome reviews and the pictures of the food. We left surprised at the reviews. Although the place is not awful, it clearly does not deserve the over 85% reviews that are given it right now.First, I will say that the staff was quite friendly, knowledgeable, and quick with refills, chips, questions, etc. No complaints there at all.The food though, was a different story. We started with the queso fundido which came highly reviewed. The Queso is melted cheese, with some chiles and picos, some more cheese, topped with cheese, and mixed with more cheese. I realize that queso means cheese, but it needs some other flavor than that especially when it was supposed to be mixed with more than 1/2 tsp of pico/chiles which is about what was in it. The chips were thick and the salsa had a strange aftertaste but manageable. Finally, when the order came, we ordered a vegetable fajita and the #1 which included a beef taco, a cheese enchilada, and a chile relleno. The vegetable fajita, rice, beans, and tortillas were all quite good. The only complaint was that the vegetables needed salt but were otherwise overly spiced. As for the #1, it was a pretty bad disaster. The beef in the taco was strangely seasoned and not appealing at all. The chile relleno is cheese, a slice of chile, covered with an egg, yes…literally it tasted like a chile/cheese omelet and not a relleno. The cheese and onion was good, but the enchilada sauce was a bit lacking.Ultimately, my biggest complaint is that the restaurant tries to mask mediocre taste by adding more cheese…to the queso, to the relleno, and to the enchiladas. At some point, cheese is not the answer.Again, this review is likely more harsh than my actual opinion of the restaurant, but for those saying it is the best Mexican restaurant they have ever been to, I will say this probably will not even break my top 50.

Not good!! Overpriced, soup tasted like campbells soup, told server 3 times for corn tortillas she still brought flour. Servers were arguing and cussing in Spanish as were not Mexican ha! Bad customer service and just now they overcharged us. Apparently its customary to charge double if you share a plate of food that is individually priced. (Not a Buffet ese) definitely a let down the damn reviews on this lied or were so old it don’t apply
