No Reason Not to Go Back…. These guys try so hard to create the illusion of a fine Italian dining experience, but it’s challenged by the remarkably inexpensive menu prices they have. Piping in Dean Martin, Sinatra, and Jerry Vale, with accordingly paisan decor; red & white check tablecloths, and all the stereotypical trappings of place you might see on the east coast. It’s cheesy goodness, and my teenage fellas thought they were eating somewhere very special. It made me smile. Their food is fine. Nothing spectacular, and nothing horrible. Also noted is their silly and cheap house chianti, which is obviously cut with water, but only $5.75 a carafe. Portions are large, and I can recommend the chicken parm over pasta, which is not really on the menu, but if you ask for the sandwich, they’ll ask if you want it over pasta. It’s comfort food. The chef even came out and asked how everything was. Not something you normally see In a casino restaurant. It was so cute…
