Overpriced and under-portioned. Like the title says. In fact, my date and I were both still hungry when we left so we wound up going to another restaurant about an hour later. The food was decently flavored but not outstanding enough to warrant the prices charged. Also, at least the time I ate there, it was uncomfortably cold — to the point that I wound up putting my jacket back on.
Great Food Again. I wrote a review about this restaurant about two months ago. What I find about many restaurants is that they are inconsistent. I CAN NOT SAY THIS ABOUT the Roundabout Bistro. Every time I go there, the food is consistently GREAT. You’ve got to try the Sunday Brunch. The vegetable benedict is one of the best benedicts that I have ever had.27 May, 2010A Pleasure Every Time. My wife and I go to the Roundabout on a very regular basis. We also take my mother-in-law to the Roundabout on a regular basis. Having traveled all over the world eating at fine restaurants, being a foodies and gourmet cooks, we expect a lot when it comes to restaurants. We can say, that we have NEVER been disappointed.The atmosphere is great, the food is good, the locals really show their support, the menu selection is great and they are very flexible if you want to change out something on the menu.The Chef and co-owner clearly have done a great job with this place. We recommend the Roundabout to everyone that we talk to.
