Was attending the event at the Peppermill resort and the restaurant is conveniently located just across the street from it. We had fried calamari for an appetizer – nicely crispy but fried on the heavy side, served with the sauce which resembled ketchup the most. I had gorgonzola crusted New York strip which was very nicely done, at a medium rare plus as I requested, juicy and tasty. Had sauteed mushrooms and sauteed onions as my two sides – those were absolutely delicious, definitely recommend these side dishes. Nice, friendly and prompt service.Recommended. talk-a-vino.com
Needless to say much, we had a wonderful experience. It was just an ordinary day to me but server Ashley and the owner himself gave us the warmest welcome and thanked us for coming over. The steaks were really good, served as ordered, we had Porter house ( TBone- filet mignon on one side, new york steak on the other side) and 20lbs prime rib with seasoned rice, fried calamari and steak soup. Service was phenomenal too! Only thing was the hours of operation, I want to be able to enjoy the steaks during lunch too, but, other than that everything was awesome 🙂
