This place is a hidden gem in southeast Reno. My husband and I were weekend breakfast regulars until I realized I was allergic to eggs. Their food is delicious (don’t leave without buying a cranberry/white chocolate cookie!) and the staff is friendly. Yum, yum!
Amazing. I ate lunch from the Wet Hen Cafe for the first time today, and it was amazing. It is close to my work, so I stopped by at lunch. The spinach salad was the best spinach salad that I have ever had. I never write reviews on anything, but I enjoyed the salad so much that I felt like I had to write a review. I got my order to go, and I was in and out in 5 minutes. Very quick and friendly service. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
This is a special place. What a nice surprise to find the Wet Hen. It is cheerful, homey, clean and the staff are cheerful and efficient. For my first trip in I tried the Biscuits and Gravy which is the best I’ve found in Reno. I had them add a cup of fruit to the plate to make it somewhat healthier. I was very happy with everything from the decor which has many nice pieces of artwork for sale to the service which was excellent and the food which was hot, tasty and very fresh. The fruit appeared to be cut just for my order. For breakfast they have several items from which to choose as well as pastries and specials and will make omelettes to order. If you are a chocolate lover ask for their Chocolate Espresso cookies – an exceptional experience. They didn’t have any when I asked about them but made a special batch in a jiffy just for me. I am looking forward to my next visit which will be soon.
This place has friendly atmosphere. Family based restruant and will offer great service. Try it for yourself and you be the judge. I’m here all winter long for their wor won ton soup and Kung pao chicken. Keeps me warm. Enjoy!!!
