Sandee. I am shocked by the bad reviews. I have been going to Zozos for years and have never had bad food or service. I find the food to be reasonably priced.The chicken piccata is the best I have had.
This restaurant is terrible in every way. First of all, I had the worst Italian food I have ever eaten in my life. The pasta was way overcooked and even a simple garlic olive oil had no flavor whatsoever. The dessert was almost as bad. In fact, I skeptically ordered an ice cream sundae thinking it was a fool proof choice and soon discovered my mistake. It was mediocre at best. Considering their fairly high prices, I was shocked that there were any customers in the place for the type of food being served. Sadly, the wine didn’t help either. Served in a carafe, the wine was far too sweet and again overpriced. However, the worst event came at the end of the night. My boyfriend and I arrived at 8 for dinner and we were finishing our glasses of wine after dinner when the manager or owner told us they were closed an asked us to leave. Upset and frankly treated extremely rudely, we left our overpriced wine on the table and left. After a $100 bill and a night out ruined, we will absolutely never be going back.
