My first visit here. Suggested by random person in supermarket line. GREAT SUGGESTION!Panama Curry and Pad Thai were both some of the best I’ve had. Looking forward to going back and trying the Tom Ka soup and other goodies.
Great Thai. Probably my favorite Thai Restaurant in Las Vegas. I have been going to the one on the Northside since about 2005 and it has always been reliable. This is my first to the Pin Kaow on Eastern and it is equally as good. I usually have the yellow curry with chicken and this one certainly passed muster. I wanted it spicy and asked for it as level 7. It still could have been a little spicier. I think I am building up a tolerance to the heat. The amount of food was plentiful, and am glad I didn’t order an appetizer. The dining room is a little dark but had attractive surroundings. I will probably return to the other Pin Kaow’s in the future because being an out-of-towner, this one is a little further out than I expected from where I was staying. Food is still good though.
Seriously? I have have never had chicken that tasted this much like a coop.. Spent 60.00 bucks for a few items. Pot stickersCurry puffsthai iced teaMee krobtom yum kaiMongolian chickenThe atmosphere was good, staff was friendly. Chicken tasted all kinda bland and …poultry..flavored….The problem was that it seemed as though they just threw the meat in the sauces JUST before serving it. It didn’t have time to simmer or absorb any of the flavor. Was there anything special hey? Noooooooope! Will I be back? Nooooooooope!Oh, thai iced tea was good.Bottom line – …uhhh….I did not really enjoy it, and will not return…ever…
I have went to Pin kaow several times and i havent ever been disapointed. The food there is very good along with a very nice look to the place. my only complaint is that the employs seem to be from thailand and it shows. you really cant understand what they’re saying and they cant understand what your saying which leads to incorrect orders.
GREAT ATMOSPHERE!! I’m a picky diner. Places I spend money in HAVE to come up to my standards. I recommend the Tom Yum Soup. Emphasis on the YUM! and their fried bananas with coconut ice cream is AMAZING! As well as the mango with sticky rice with coconut sauce. VERY tasty. Price was reasonable for such great food. Highly recommend it.
Fabulous. Fantastic menu with tons of Thai fish. Pricey, but the atmosphere and food are worth it.
I can’t say I eat too much Thai food but I do know what I like. The food itself is enough to keep me coming back, not to mention the friendly staff. They are very accommodating. You really can’t go wrong with any of their curries, last time I had the catfish, didn’t know what to expect, except I just gained 5 lbs. And their noodles like the pad Thai compliment any meal. Next tine though I’d love to try any of their soups. Dessert though we seem to keep going with the deep fried bananas with ice cream, it sounded good off the menu and it sounds good here. I’ve heard they do shows in their restaurants like traditional Thailand dance with costume and all. Never seen it, heard it was just the southwest location(I think) I could be wrong. But that’s just a nice added touch to your experience.
