Good and fresh. Staff very nice.
Go to one of the other 5 sushi places in the area! Yuck! We got four rolls to go with edamame and it was terrible! The rolls wouldn’t stay together and the rice was soggy. Their sauces were awful! We asked for soy sauce and got some syrupy sauce instead. We will be avoiding this place in the future.
Good food, great price. I ordered the salmon sashimi, the spice octopus, the sushi bomb, and the spicy tuna tempura roll. The fish was good, very fresh. The octopus was chopped, whereas I prefer slices, but I’ve seen many places do this. The taste was still quite good. As mentioned in another review, the fish slices are large. I’m going to guess this place is trying to appeal to Americans who expect to get large portions. And there is nothing wrong with that, because the price was really great. I had 12 pieces and an iced tea for $27, which I felt was fair. The chefs were very polite and eager to answer questions. If you are in town and staying at the nearby hotel (as I was), this would be a great place to go on a weekday evening.

They have a great lunch special Monday thru Saturday. Half off between 11am & 3pm. I have been there numerous times, the fish is top quality and so was their service. I would highly recommend to any sushi lover!
I’ve been to almost every sushi restraunt here in Henderson and Sushi Wa is definitely the best in quality. All their fish is fresh and their sauces are made right in the restrauant. They always have stellar service and have never disappointed me. It can get a little pricy, but you get what you pay for.
