Hands down the worst Steak n Shake meal I’ve ever eaten and I’ve eaten hundreds. Cold fries, dry steak burger/bun. The chili was the only thing worth eating. Server was more concerned about a break than taking care of customers.

Worth the wait. Every time we stop by there is a line but for good reason…. Their burgers are my favorite. I won’t say the best because I have obviously bit eaten every burger in the world. I can order something different every time and still leave happy. Generally I have had good service there. the shakes do take longer than I think they should but once again they are worth the wait. I love this place.

Midwest Memories. I was so excited to learn that my favorite Missouri hotspot my friends and I always hung out at was coming to Las Vegas, especially around Christmas. My own personal present. I was promptly disspointed once then twice again. The first time I went I had the mushroom burger and a chocolate shake. I must say that the shake was awesome, just like I remember, the burger was absolutely awful. The amount of grease is still a remembrance, but I was thinking, first week I will come back after Christmas to let them get settled in, again I was very dissapointed, the burger were very greasy, and underseasoned again. I understand the burgers are generally that way, but its supposed to be in a good way, these were definitely not. I got the patty melt this time, my fave, and it was just awful, no tasty steakburger patty, or yummy cheese. But the shake was just as good though, mint chocolate chip, although we got it way after I was done with my burger which was a bummer. The service here pretty much sucks too, both times I went they forgot my water to go with my shakes, and I asked for it twice the second time I went. Water is supposed to be pretty much standard when you just have a shake, but whatever. I tried it twice and I think that we will just go back for the ice cream, if we want to wait in line. Ugh! Maybe the owners need to go back to the midwest and get some little midwest welcoming spirit and not the buffet crap food that las vegas is known for.

Long wait, slow service, lousy burgers. I heard a lot of good things about Steak’n’Shake (other locations), so I was looking forward to try it.We waited half an hour in line, as the place was packed. Once we sat down, we waited about 10 minutes before the waiter even took our order, which was pretty annoying already. It took another 10 minutes for the shakes to arrive, and then, wait for it, another 35 minutes for the food. If if waiting 45 minutes from the time of ordering to the arrival of burgers and fries wasn’t bad enough, those were easily the worst burgers I had in my life.Paper thin patties, mercilessly overcooked to the point of being inedible. Dry buns, dry patties, just a tiny drop of sauce on the bottom of my Chipotle burger. It was like biting into a piece of cardboard. The chili fries were severly lacking chili. The shakes were ok, but they were all long gone by the time the food arrived, and the server never bothered to check if we wanted any other drinks in the almost 90 minutes we were there. The shakes were alright, the fries were kinda blah (underseasoned shoestring fries). The manager was nowhere to be found, and there were no customer feedback cards, either. I would have sent the food back, but it was late and I didn’t want to bother. Horrible experience !If you want to have better food and save yourself some time and aggravation, go to In’n’Out. Or Carl’s jr. Or Jack in the box. Or … well, pretty much anywhere else. McDonald’s Dollar Menu sounded pretty good compared to this experience.
