My beautiful one and I chose to come here for our two year anniversary. The experience was very nice. The ambiance was perfect. Nice noise level you can have a intimate conversation and we sat close to the bar. We started off with a couple of appetizers from the Happy hour menu Crab cakes and the Shrimp Scampi. Cakes were nice and most texture just right. Shrimp was mouth watering. For our meal she had more shrimp with the angel hair pasta. I had Veal it was a great portion and tasted great. Staff and service was outstanding.
I have wanted to try this place for a year. I finally got enough cash to do so because it’s expensive. But I was sadly disappointed. I feel let down so often in Vegas it’s like people here just don’t care about service jobs. I may dress like a casual person but that doesn’t mean just because I’m not ordering a 500$ wine that I won’t tip 30% on even a 10$ meal. I ordered a salad but it was so slimy and gross I had them get me a different one where I very specifically said NO mushrooms (allergy) but yet they came to the table anyways. For 80$ meal for my mom and I I felt disappointed that I had to sit picking food I told them to not put on my plate out in front of the manager who watched me doing so yet made no attempt to stop and ask me why. The staff that is not your actual servers seem nice and attentive but your servers only acknowledge the tables who have wine on them. That’s highly disappointing. Just because I am not a lush doesn’t mean I cannot tip or be of value as a customer who is more than willing to bring in friends and family. To recommend the place to everyone I know. Word of mouth instead of being positive is now negative. I won’t ever go back. The food itself was edible but to be honest was only a step above Olive Garden. So for 40$ a plate I expect a lot better. It was clean and had a piano bar. Their are a lot of handicap parking spots and the door is on the Main Street side (Sahara). I honestly would say if your going for wine cheese and deli meat and bread you’ll prob be fine but you better act or dress like your going to tip 100$ on a 10$ meal because you won’t be noticed otherwise. I rate this as another once and done, never again.
