We went to Embers on a suggestion from a Las Vegas local. It is a small place so it can get a little loud. We ordered the chateaubriand for two and the other couple ordered the filet and a prime rib. All of which were cooked to perfection. The sides were only 3 dollars each so we tried every one of them. They do not disappoint. The deserts were outstanding as well.Great food and service at an affordable price in Vegas, Ya baby!!

The worst dining experience I have ever had.. I ate here on Thanksgiving Day of 2007 with my family, and I can easily say that it was the worst dining experience I have ever had. For being marketed as a higher-end restaurant, the atmosphere was pretty shabby and unimpressive, which I wasn’t surprised about with the restaurant being inside of Imperial Palace and all. The restaurant did, however, provide a fairly accurate glimpse of what was to come. The service was terrible — slower than anywhere I have ever dined before. When our food finally did arrive, I took a few bites of the turkey; it was cold. I was the only one who had ordered the traditional turkey dinner; the rest of my family had all ordered other items, which they told me were warm but mediocre. As my family and I tried unsuccessfully to get the attention of waitstaff so that I could send back my plate, I started to feel ill — flushed, dizzy, and nauseated. Meanwhile, the party next to us was complaining to whom I presume was the manager of the restaurant for how long they had waited for their food. So much time passed without any waitstaff in sight that my polite husband actually picked up my plate and carried it into the back kitchen area himself to get someone’s attention. At the same time, I had to excuse myself to the restroom (I will spare you those details). When I returned to our table, our waitress, who seemed embarrassed, came over and apologized. She made no offer to reduce our check by the amount of my uneaten meal or compensate us in any way for our terrible experience. The manager was tied up with other upset customers, and I just wanted to get back to our room at another hotel, so we paid and left as promptly as we could. I will never EVER return to this restaurant again. Actually, I will try to avoid Imperial Palace altogether during future trips to Vegas.
