This place was recommended to me by my barber. He is a native Las Vegan. I told him about my fondness for Egg Fu yong he said it was the best. He was right. I also had some Shrimp Fried Rice, Beef and Broccoli and Sweet and Sour pork. The portions were huge and under 40 bucksPlus it’s a Vegas gem.
Great Wall is truly considered a hidden gem to my family. I have been coming to this restaurant for 6 years I have never had a bad meal! Food is great and the service is awesome! Aunt Liz always welcomes us like family!
I’m all for Las Vegas institutions and this place has been there for years, which is why we gave it a try, but what god-awful food! Not quite as greasy as some places, but the food was incredibly bland and waaaay overkill with the corn starch. The Hot and Sour Soup was soup, but neither hot nor sour. More like a lifeless tapwater stew. The Chow Mein is what others actually call Lo Mein and was bland and mushy. I honestly could have flavored my shoe with soy sauce and gotten more enjoyment from it. Save yourself the disappointment and cruise a few more blocks to Chinatown…
