I love sushi, and had pretty high expectations since I am from New England. I should have left after the cokes we ordered were flat. The sushi rolls we ordered were OK, about a 4-5 out of 10. We also ordered calamari and I have not the slightest idea of what was served to us, because it was not calamari. It tasted like a fish stick that I got served in grade school with excessive batter. It was just too overpriced and not appetizing in the least.
After living in Japan for a few years this is pretty close to the real thing. We ate there the 1-7-2011 for the tenth time and everything was great. When we left we were the only native English speakers in the place so you know it must be authentic.
We practically ad the restaurant to ourselves for dinner. Food was ok, a bit pricey but to be expected. I won’t say stay away, but you may have a better experience at Benihana at the LV Hilton.
Not that great. Hamada was my favorit sushi place but under new management everything has changed including the food. Service is ok.
Overpriced, under portioned and just barely OK flavor wise. Doesn’t compare to hibachi style restaurants in Ohio.
