Firstly, the service – quick and swift. The only criticism is that they can slow down a tad and allow you to breathe after you’ve seated. However having said that, they are on the strip and may want to hurry up to get people to their showsSecondly – the food was amazing! I had the beef fillet with crab toppings and my vegetarian girlfriend had the arrabiata pasta. Both dishes were amazingly delicious and I can’t say enough about them.Then dessert – by then we were both full but had room to try their crme brle! I judge a restaurant quality on their desserts and yes! This delivered! The crack on the topping!!! OMG was to die for.Overall ambience was good and romantic! On the downside – it is a bit pricey but well the spend if you can afford it. Expect to pay about $300 for 2 people including a bottle of wine so I probably would say not too bad! Anyway, we enjoyed it and I’d definitely recommend it.
The comment about this place being like Olive Garden is just asinine. Although perhaps a bit pricey, there are many fine touches to make this place worth going in addition to terrific food. If you want to dedicate a few hours to fine Italian dining and relaxing with good food and friends, this is a great choice.
Read all the reviews so was eager to give it a try as part of a big night out. There is nothing wrong but its waaaay over rated. It leans toward Olive Garden with an old school touch. If you are used to great Italian eats and the fun and energy that is part of the Italian kitchen experience give this a miss. Again, nothing bad. The problem is nothing remarkabe.
Just okay at best. The service is impeccable. Sadly, the food is not. I’ll admit the wave of antipasti to start the meal is a nice touch; but quantity is never a substitute for quality, and the uninspired meal goes downhill after they roll away the parmegiano reggiano wheel. Dine here if you’ve won big – otherwise stay away.
The food and dining style at Il Mulino is the closest to authentic Italian style food and dining that I have had outside of Italy. Each course is delicious and so well made. I don’t think that I had any problems with anything that I ordered or tried. This will be a long meal and you will be beyond full afterwards, but it really is so worth it. This restaurant is pricey, but I do believe that it is worth the price. With that said, this is not a restaurant to go to for a quick bite before the show or going to the clubs; this is a nice place to sit, eat, and relax. Take your time and enjoy it.
Overrated. Mediocre food .To much olive Oil on the bread.Bruschetta not crispy but soaked .1 month a year i’am in italy and will be eating much better for less money Sorry very disappointing experience.
Old School & Not Worth It. Kinda much ado about nothing. Sure, it’s real, old school EYE THAI, but not overly fresh and extremely stuffy pretentious service. Take off the tux and get back to simple, fresh food.
