I saw KoMex on a TV show just before we went to LV and made a note. Glad I did. We stuck to the Korean dishes and really enjoyed them. The Bulgogi rice bowl was superb. Nice spice and served with more spicy sauce on the side for those who want more kick. (Like me.) The bowl includes a sunny side up egg and kimchee. Like a bibimbap, mixing it up and enjoying is the thing to do. The meat was flavorful and moist. The entire dish was great. Friendly folks working there made for a great lunch. Don’t miss this little gem!
Great fusion food and service. Not to mention they also great ice tea! You greater with chips and salsa. A must get is the fusion rolled tortillas. And the wings, man those wings are crispy and tasty! The Kimchi fried of course. Is topped off with a fried egg too….pure magic here!
I am shocked to know that this restaurant has a 97% rating. Putting Asian slaw on every Mexican dish does not create a fusion of flavors. Fresh ingredients and simple execution would go a long way in this restaurant.
Mexican Korean Fusion Is So Good It Gives Me Hope For World Peace. I went to Komex for the first time tonight. I hope it won’t be the last. I had the Fusion Flautas (Bulgogi plus Cheese rolled in flour tortillas & Deep Fried (3) plus fusion guacamole) and a pork taco (Choice of Meat with KoMex slaw and pico de gallo on Corn Tortillas). They were great. Lots of flavor and you can tell they use fresh ingredients. My total was only $10.00!
I think the burrito is just not a good choice and should have had tacos. My beef was extremely gristly but my friend’s wasn’t . Chips and salsa were great as was the service. You win some…
