The service was extremely good- I was very impressed. My friend who came with me is Vegan and she also enjoyed the food. I will definitely be visiting again soon!
After reading several good reviews about Mix Zone Cafe, my husband and I decided to give it a try. We placed an order for pick up (their menu is available online) consisting of crispy eggplant, pineapple fried rice with chicken, and pad see-ewe with tofu. We also got two Thai iced teas to wash it all down. The woman that took order was very friendly. When we went to pick up the food 30 minutes later it was all packed and ready to go. Again, the staff were all very friendly. We got the food home and opened the containers. The food was presented beautifully, even in the styrofoam containers! This goes especially for the pineapple fried rice, which was colorful and topped with fresh cilantro. Both entrees were tasty, with just the right amount of heat (we requested a spice level 2 out of 4), and the Thai tea was a unique and satisfying treat. However, my husband and I were both a bit disappointed with the crispy eggplant. The batter was thicker than expected, and slightly soggy, although I attribute the former characteristic of the eggplant to it sitting in a closed styrofoam container for 10 minutes. I’m certain that it would have been different had we eaten it straight from the kitchen in the restaurant. All in all, my husband and I would both reccomend Mix Zone Cafe!

Not real Thai food. I went to Mix Zone last week, I was upset so much because I felt like I didn’t eat Thai food at all. I love Thai food and I went to many Thai restaurants in Las Vegas, but I don’t like here at all. When I walked inside, I smelled something, kind of weird:( Only one thing I like is music.
Delicious Thai! Went for lunch and it was so packed we had to wait for a seat, only about 5 minutes. Had the crispy eggplant appetizer, it was amazing!!! Highly recommend trying! The beef panang was the best I’ve had in 8 states and the garlic chicken was yummy ( topped with a huge dollop of sauted garlic) , but if you have an aversion to cilantro, ask them to hold it. It is a main flavor. We will definitely be making the Mix Zone Cafe a favorite! Prices were very reasonable for quantity of food.
Forgettable Thai. 9/15/09 visit: this funky Thai restaurant is located in the hospital zone. We started off with som tum – shredded papaya salad with tomatoes, green beans, Thai chiles and lime juice. We requested heat level 2, but were levitated off our seats by the spiciness of this dish. Our shared entrees of pad Thai with shrimp and three color curry with chicken were milder, but neither proved to be exceptional. 2 Forks out of a possible 5.
The best Phad Thai I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot of Thai food. I will most definitely come here the next time I’m back in Vegas. Fast and friendly service, great music and ambiance.
