Great large menu. The pumpkin bread was great, a fun option instead of the usual toast. We only had a short wait to get in but they only gave us a few minutes to review the large menu. When we weren’t ready to order, the waitress said she would come back. The owner then approached us about 10 minutes later and seemed upset that we hadn’t ordered yet, he questioned multiple times why we hadn’t ordered (the waitress hasn’t returned yet). Needless to say, I didn’t think it was appropriate for the owner to act this way, we had never been there, we only needed a few more minutes :/
Amazing place to eat. Wow we are coming back! The portion size was over the top and the taste amazing. Service is exceptional here. I had the Chorizos omelette and my wife had the eggs Benedict. Perfectly cooked. A must visit 7 min from the strip
I just went there after reading the reviews. I must say this place does not dissapoint. Had gone there twice for breakfast. Had French Toast, Stuffed French Toast with blueberry, American Cheddar Cheese Omlettea and the Pumpkin Bread. The taste was pretty awesome and quantity was wholesome. And dont miss the pumpkin bread at any cost, it served warm and tastes like heaven. All n all ths service is quick, the food is great and the servers are homely.
This hugely popular breakfast/brunch place is located less than 2 miles from the strip, hidden in a dilapidated strip mall off Charleston Blvd. The locals seem to know where it is, as there were tons of people in business attire enjoying their lunch break. We came here on a Monday around 11:30 AM and the place was busy. When we walked in, there was a dining room to the left and more seating area straight ahead. We were seated at neither location but we were led to the right and to a huge, hidden dining area. This place was pretty big!!Like the restaurant, The menu was just as big, as we were given tabloid size laminated menu with one side with omelettes and breakfast items, and on the other side lunch items. It’s took us about 10 minutes to figure out what we want it, and ironically, not one of us ordered the omelet. We were at the Henderson location 2 years ago and Stephen ordered the house corned beef hash and eggs. He liked it so much, he decided to order it again here. Karen had the country scrambler, and I had the ham and eggs. Stephen’s corned beef hash took up almost half the plate along with his to sunny-side eggs. There were chunks of beef, and you could see it definitely was made from scratch. Karen also had a very generous helping of eggs with chunks of ham and loads of melted cheese. My ham steak was about a half inch thick and took up the entire plate as well. They had to serve my egg and spuds on a separate plate. All of the breakfast orders came with their version of spuds, which was a cross between slices of potatoes grilled almost to chip consistency. The breakfast also came with bread, which included their pumpkin or banana nut bread. Service was a little spotty, as it took a while to get things we asked for. We asked for Splenda, and it took a while, and I never got my refill of my Diet Coke. However, coffee cups were refilled regularly and frequently. Friendly people, huge portions, are reasons why I can see why this place is very popular on weekends. callmemochelle.com
Ok, normally a 3 egg omelet is around 8 – 10 bucks, this place’s omelette are 6 egg omelette soft the same price, UNBELIEVABLE.
Huge portions, real cheese, and the warm pumpkin and banana bread seal the deal! Worth the short venture from the strip!
Great food even better service!. If you’re hungry, this is the place for you. Come prepared to share! Enjoyed our visit and Julie our waitress was really nice and attentive. Would definitely go back.
