Good-day, sunshine. Great little cheerful diner, pleasant staff, great home-made cinnamon buns. I ordered the corn beef hash and rye toast, hash browns, OE fried eggs. i have to admit the hash and the browns were a dissappointment, and such small portions! as the woody allen joke says. seriously, thogh, i looked at somebodys giant burger sailing past me and desparately wish i’d gone for that in spite of not usually being all that excited about burgers. chili omelette looked darn good too. couldnt find anyone at my table prepared to try those other choices with me.i liked the vibe and decor and would hang there if it were closer to me. didnt think the nieghborhood was as bad as other reviews said-its not the suburbs, after all. but guys, please do some re-assessment of your hashes, they need a little upgrading! otherwise, all fine.

I ordered a short stack of pretty ordinary pancakes while Ann could not resist the day’s special, apple cinnamon French toast accompanied by an excessively sweet, sticky syrup plus 2 eggs and bacon.
Nice family run restaurant. Great staff. Good prices. Try one of their green chilie dishes.
