One year later….. We are returning to the Nugget Sept 07 and heading back to Binion’s Caf for our meals…..stay tuned. So excited!11 Sep, 2013Go there!. We stayed at the Nugget and the Binion is located across the street along Fremont. 90% of our meals were at The Caf. Get their loyalty card and take advantage of their discounted meals. Chicken fried steak = A+. Hamburger = A+, Hangover breakfast burger = A+, Jalapeno bottle caps = A+ +++ HOT, Chili hot dog with fries = A+. So reasonably priced with the card. Service is excellent. If you get a soda, water or iced tea, ask for a top to take the cup to go. If you are lucky to get William as a server, you’re set. When you pay your bill at the cashier and Linda is there, get to know her – she is a wealth of knowledge and information of downtown and Binions. She is an awesome valuable employee there.
Pleasantly surprised. Say at the counter and got great service from Michelle. I was very impressed on how clean the restaurant was. The eating and cooking areas. I left it up to Michelle to make a choice for me. I got cream of mushroom soup and the double cheeseburger with fries. Soup was good and double cheeseburger was great. Cooked perfectly and all fresh stuff. Will definitely be back.
Prime Rib Good. My family and I had a great day out exploring southern Nevada and we ended up at Fremont Street for the evening. We decided on this caf. All of us tried the Prime Rib. We were shocked at how thick the cut of delicious dead cow that came to our table. The prime rib was served perfectly cooked. The au jus was a little watered down but still good and the horseradish sauce had a kick to it. The sides that came with it were bland and disappointing but the prime rib made up for it.
Hey, it’s Binion’s… What’s not to love. This is a great classic All-American cafe/diner. Everything is good. The service is often times slow so come in when you are ready to relax and unwind from after you’ve spent a long day of gambling. Steak and eggs… Awesome!Enjoy!
Bean soup. In days of yore, a trip wasn’t complete without a visit to Binion’s for the bean soup, but much gas has been passed since our last visit. We each ordered a bowl of this day’s black-eyed bean and ham soup that was accompanied by a generous portion of corn bread and onions. The soup was under seasoned and the corn bread was dry due to over baking, so much for nostalgia.
One of the best deals in Vegas. Eat at the bar. An authentic 60’s restaurant. They have fantastically priced specials and the food is excellent. We went here twice. One of our favorite places in town. Burgers, dogs & BBQ. All are very good.
