This is the original restaurant with large portions of food. I always forget that. It seems the pictures always fool me. That and the fact that it has been about two years since I’ve been to a Claim Jumper. I felt I needed to start off with a side salad and the Caesar salad I had was a nice size. It just so happened that it was very good too. I really , really, wanted the chicken pot pie. I was amazed at its size though. I wondered right from the start how I was going to finish this, since I am not one to waste food. The top and bottom crust was made of puff pastry, so it was quite elegant to say the least. The pie was packed with chicken and the sauce was thick and oh so good. It was slow going but I made it though! I will skip the salad next time though. While it was great, it was just too much food. Dessert was out of the question. I did have a problem with my server unfortunately. We got off to a great start. Very friendly. Got my drink. Right on top of everything. Brought my salad and cleared the plates afterward. I really don’t ask for a lot when I eat out. I am a very easy diner. Without going into great detail I just wanted to see if the channel could be switched, if nobody was watching what was on. He checked with another server and there was whispering and from that point on my server basically disappeared. I was not even halfway into the pot pie and he brought my check off and I never heard from him again. I got up and paid at the register. I figured I was supposed to pay him but I did not have all evening to wait.

We popped in for just a quick bite and I was very impressed. The wings were good and the fried lemon pepper zucchini was a surprise treat. I agree with another reviewer that the service was slow.We also had margaritas, the first one was excellent but I guess I should have let a good thing ride as the second one was not drinkable. Weird how 2 drinks from same spot can be so different.!

Service a little slow, but food was amazing with large portions. Ribeye was incredible! Definitely will return with friends! This 140 Characters is BS

Fabulous, tasty food, like real home cooking! My husband had grilled shrimp & roasted tri tips. I had their homemade chicken pot pie. Scrumptious and a huge helping. The best meal we have had while visiting Vegas. All this for around $40.

Very friendly service and extremely large portions. The complimentary garlic cheddar bread is amazing. I shared an order of the lemon pepper zucchini and ordered the loco moco. Flavor on both was good, but not amazing. Overall, if you are looking for a good meal at a very fair price, Claim Jumper will work out.

Comfort food Fremont style. Dropped by after taking in the Fremont Experience. Didnt realize it was part of a chain. Service was rather good. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Had the Kalbi Ribs. Not really ribs but still quite tasty. Loved the Thai slaw. Someone in our party had the Tri-Tip Dip. Yes, it is as good as everyone says. Large portion sizes. GR8 value for the money, contrary to some of the pretentious spots on the Strip. Old school family fare just steps away from one of the zaniest streets in America. Who says you cant have it all? Would return.
