Fierce loyalty rules for this Greek American restaurant and for pretty Good reasons. Precursor, the Cat n’ The Fiddle, which exists and is still great, sets the table for this fine, but very much family, dining.
This is a true Family Restaurant where all of the employees pick up slack for other employees. Meals start with a soup or salad. That is the way it should be. All of our food and service were top notch.
My Seafood pie and Lentil Soup we’re delicious! Fish and Chips were excellent. Italian Sausage is cut very thin so looses its taste. Prime Rib is sliced thin so can’t be ordered Medium Rare. Noon time is crowded. Try to go after one.
Nice place for family and friends. Tried the Parmesan Haddock au gratin and it was delicious. Nice and prompt service and a very clean place. I recommend it.
We go to Barous at least once a week before we go shopping for grocerys at Market Basket next door. With most meals they serve rolls, soup or salad,vegetables with your entrey!
Our alumni group met for dinner at Barous’ Family Restuarant last evening. Approximately twelve attendees had various dinner meal offerings including several of the specials. Everyone commented how good their meals were. The service was was very good as well.
We love going here, easy access for people with wheel chairs and walking issues. Food is great and has a good variety on the menu. I have brought my parents and several clients here and have never had a bad experience.
