About
The restaurant at the 1785 Inn is located in a historic building overlooking famous mountain scenery (the 7th most photographed nature scene in the U.S.) A travel guide newsletter recently called it "One of the top 15 views in the world from a hotel or inn." All meals are cooked to order with the freshest possible ingredients (in spring/summer/fall the vegetables & herbs come from their own gardens or local farms). The service is friendly and the wine list is extensive (has received the "Award of Excellence" for 25 consecutive years from the Wine Spectator magazine). The desserts are all made at the Inn (including some that are flambed tableside). The critics have called it "an amazing value" and "the best place to stay or eat in North Conway." A relaxing luonge is also avilable for drinks, some lighter food, or one of their desserts.Details

The meal was okay, but not more than that. We stayed at the 1785, so we got to compare the dinner to our breakfasts and the dinner was not of the quality of the daily breakfasts.
Very Reasonably priced, Nice Pub, Great breakfast and an unbelievable view. Winter or summer you won’t forget this Place.
How many ways can one say that one of the best restaurants in the Mt. Washington Valley, NH has closed for Good? Still a B&B, but they’ve stopped serving the public. Very Sad. Hopefully, they’ll reconsider after a brief respite.
This used to be a fabulous, high-end restaurant, and we were ready to make reservations this year. Alas, they have closed and are only keeping the inn open with attendant breakfast for guests. Bummer!
