It’s arguably the best sub/pizza place around. Just try going there at lunchtime or at 5 or 6 pm. The place is jammed. But that’s a good thing. They are fast and have getting people out the door with their meal down to a science. I’ve been going there for 20-odd years, ever since the owner bought the place. I’ve seen him go from a young guy managing one place, to a middle-aged man running a successful small chain.I’ve had nearly everything on their menu and all of it is good. The roast beef is spectacular. The pizzas are excellent. Their subs make the crew at the Subway down the street cry in frustration. For my money, the real winners are the Chicken Kabob Sub, the Texas Steak Melt Sub, the Roast Beef sandwiches, and their really, really excellent onion rings. (which if you order for pick-up they won’t even start cooking until you arrive so that they stay fresh and crispy as long as possible.)
I wish I could give a better review for this place, but I can’t. The reason being that I got the chicken broccoli alfredo the first time I came here, and haven’t been able to pull myself away from it for the last decade. I can’t begin to describe how good the home-made alfredo is, and while I can’t review anything else on the menu, I can tell you this dish can’t be beat.
