OMG Chicken Wings!. Anyone who’s lived in Manchester for even a short time knows this city favorite. As a person who does not like chicken wings, they made a believer out of me! Best wings, hands down, I’ve ever had. A nice touch is that they bring you one to munch on while you look over the menu, and bring the kids a coke – very kid-friendly. Simple decor, good basic Chinese menu, friendly staff and reasonable prices. Enjoy!
Very different. If you are looking for Chinese food with a twist, this is the place. I normally like the different, but this wasn’t really my thing. The curry puffs are killer and the one thing I adore about this place for, but on the whole, I prefer Hong Kong City for my chinese fix.
THE BEST CHINESE FOOD BAR NONE!. I grew up not too far from the East Hanover Plaza and my family frequented the Aloha for special occasions (or no occasions at all!)Now that I have moved away, I always make a special trip to the Aloha for dinner when I am back in the area. The same familiar decor graces the walls, and rest assured every bathroom visit yields new fresh ice to aim at as I urinate. Never mind that last comment, the reason I come here is the food! There really isn’t anything bad on the menu. The duck sauce is unlike anything I have found in the south. The complimentary chicken wings, the fresh bread rolls, the tea all are wonderful starters to a wonderful meal.I usually do the Pu Pu Platter for two, which for those who do not know what that is, think of it as a sampler platter complete with a Sterno fire grill on top. A side of house or pork fried rice and some beef broccoli gives me enough leftovers for a few days and usually last most of the rest of my visits back to New Hampshire. The service is always great. Billy, the owner, often comes out and checks on the patrons and usually has some wonderful commentary and mannerisms that make the place even more charming. Bar none, The Aloha is the best Chinese food I have eaten anywhere on the face of the earth, and I’ve even been to Asia! The Chinese food is not very good in Virginia or Florida. When I need good Chinese, I plan a trip home. I’m not just saying this folks!Try it, you’ll be glad you did!
