Good food but over priced. Fresh food and cooked properly.
Went to Cotton for dinner while traveling through Manchester. The menu was phenomenal and ended up ordering 4 appetizers to share. Our favorite was the simple mesclun salad with maple balsamic dressing. Also ordered the apple cider caramelized onion soup and goat cheese marinara with hot thick crusty bread, both of which were incredible. Finally the crab cakes which were really good but were outshined by the first three. Cotton earned 4 thumbs up from us. We even bought their cookbook!
Hostess was a totally rude. Won’t be back ever sorry
~fantastic~. The food and service were both fantastic. No meatloaf on the menu when we were there! I had Asian potstickers and the almond crusted turkey schnitzel, and the white Chocolate raspberry creme brle. Is your mouth watering yet? It should be! The portions are substantial. I thought the price was about right for the portions and the quality of the food.
I’ve never had a bad experience here and I’ve been multiple times. Great food, lovely atmosphere 🙂
My first reaction to this place was cosy. I was soon proven wrong. Afwul food that you would find in your local pub and ridiculous prices. I would rather pay to eat out of my bin than this big mistake. Spend your money else where.
Never disappoints.. Cozy, warm, intimate… the perfect spot to bring your honey for some simple (albeit a tad pricey) comfort fare. With so many haute menus brimming over with pretensious and far-fetched combinations that rarely deliver satisfaction, Cotton is a welcome detachment from that haughty school of stuffy cuisine. Sometimes, dammit, you just want meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Oh, and by the way, it will be best meatloaf you have ever had. Just don’t tell your mom.
