Very Disappointed. My wife, a friend and my youngest daughter were there for lunch. My other daughter had her first baby, and we wanted to grab a nice meal. We were seated right away out on the lower patio. My friend called after 10 minutes from Concord, NH and said he was on his way. He arrived about a half hour later. We had not been served any water, though our drink order went in about a half hour earlier. My daughter went to find the waitress and tell her we need service as we were thirsty and hungry. After about 7-10 minutes, I went to find the manager. I politely told him after 45 minutes, we had no water, no bread, drink order was somewhere, and our food order had not been taken. I asked him if it was possible to push this along as we really needed to eat and get back to my daughter and grandchild at the hospital. He looked genuinely shocked and affirmed that he would.I will say water came out soon (no lemon like everyone else). No bread though, and the manager set the table up. I will admit that they did prioritize our order and we got things pretty quickly. For that, I am satisfied. I realize mistakes can be made, or we happen upon a bad waitress or one having a bad day.But, to be honest, I thought the food to be just so, so. Typical American-Italian. Marinara sauce is overly thick, probably puree and paste. Not light and fresh. Not fresh pasta. No surprise as I saw that the carbonara was made with Al Fredo sauce. While AL Fredo sauce is somewhat similar, it is not the same. The Buffalo Mozzarella was suspect (I used to work next to the old Puritan Cheese in the North End). My wife thought her lemon Salmon/Shrimp was so-so. She did not care for the soggy Salmon skin (she likes the skin, but, when crispy).Again, not impressed. Went here a long time ago and back then, it was pretty good.Finally, in case you are wondering, did we ever get a discount, or the appetizer comped? No.
TERRIBLE! I would never return even for a free meal. Primary reason I dislike this place is the staff. Rude, ignorant and quite obviously do not care about your experience. Food is basic Italian, nothing more than below average to average. OBSCENELY over priced, never again.

Requests to restaurant staff to ask them to encourage the smokers to move to another location resulted in them directing me to another exit… the food is not good enough to put up with non-responsive staff and impolite guests.

I’ve been there multiple times and always had great service and a reasonably priced meal. The food is great!
Service was TERRIBLE. Inattentive and condescending … near surly. A shame, because the food was pretty good. We will never go back.
