Owner / Service. I go to J W Hill’s or should I say, I used to. The owner and staff are unbelievable in that it is the pigheaded perception that they are right and the customer is wrong. During one visit I nearly had the cash taken from my hand, (unbelievable).On another occasion, when asked the cost of a dish and get served the same dish to learn the cost did not equal the verbal agreement. And trying to get satisfaction was met with ignorance and pom-pas attitude and more reluctant service. If you like getting looked down on then sit at the bar for a few minutes. The bartender will see to it that his friends get satisfaction and you take a back seat to his chums. The owner is in denial and the staff like to keep her that way!!! Control freaks.
