Night Mare at the Puritan Backroom Restaurant.. My wife and I went to the Puritan Restaurant on Hookset Rd in Manchester,NH with 2 other couples on Saturday May 23rd 2015 at 4pm. I had Chicken Cordon Blue which was undercooked and it looked like they took packaged ham and put cheese in it and put the chicken on top and cooked it for about 5 minutes, served it with a ransid tasting watery sauce. My wife had the turkey dinner which she said did not even taste like turkey. Are wattress was a thin women around 50 ,she was very very loud and quite rude. The other 2 couples had fish dinners and said they were fare tasteing but they had no plans of returning to the restaurant. We paid $41.00 which included the tip and we feel like we wasted our money. That restaurant should be closed until they get a real cook and nicer wattresses. The worst part of the whole deal was my wife and I got diarea from the food,that tells me there is a health issue in there kitchen.We plan on taking this to the Manchester board of health.
