People with food allergies avoid Red Robin in Nashua NH (possibly the chain) if you dont want to get sick:We unfortunately need to report one of the worst experiences weve had at a restaurant. My wife has many serious food allergies (i.e. gluten, dairy, fish, beef, pork), so we are always on the lookout for restaurants that take allergies seriously realizing that their neglegence can make people very sick at best or possibly die.We went to Red Robin at the Pheasant Lane Mall in Nashua NH hopeful for a good meal. Red Robins own website (sub page: allergen-program.html) boasts about their allergin safe commitment from the table to the kitchen. My wife ordered a California Chicken on a lettuce wrap free from all her allergens we saw the waiter write it down and he said he spoke to the manager when the order was entered. The meal came to the table topped with bacon strips, which luckily, we caught and then asked to speak with the manager. We explained that my wife gets very sick if she eats allergens (or if there is cross-contamination). She appologized and said she would get a new one and personally follow it through. We waited about 20 minutes and she brought another one out. My wife took a few bites and found the sandwich had melted cheese on it. We were livid and spoke with the manager again who just appologized again and said there was no excuse for their recklessness. We are now at home and my wife if feeling sick.I will be posting this on all the restaurant sites and will send it to Red Robin headquarters. Actions speak louder than words. You cant boast of an allergen free commitment unless the ENTIRE staff (managers, waiters and kitchen staff) knows how to follow through. This is not a choice Red Robin you will make people very sick.
