Stopped for lunch on a Sunday while out and about. GIC&P is a beautiful restaurant. They clearly put a lot of thought into the dcor. My sandwich could have benefitted from that. Grilled Chicken Florentine Panini (no spinach) was quite bland so I asked for a side of Balsamic which perked that sandwich right up. Chicken Baguette with avocado, jalapeno with chipotle mayo had a perfect ammt of kick to it. Service was excellent. We’ll stop for dinner some time and I’ll update.
First time in the area and was pleasantly surprised. We arrived later in the evening but the hostess waited for us to arrive before finishing her shift to accommodate us. Service was very good and prompt and our table was checked on frequently to fulfill any needs. Server was knowledgeable of how to serve food to larger families with children which was very pleasing. The food was delicious. Portions were good sized and reasonably priced. We were very satisfied and would be happy to visit again.

Service was super slow with no explanation. Appetizers and my meal of pizza all came out at the same time and appetizers were cold. Water glasses remained unfilled. I think all of this was wait staff related. Atmosphere was very nice and my nieces mussels with pasta appetizer was a meal in itself.
Delicious!. I have enjoyed everything I have had from here and always excellent service. One of my favorite places in Galloway.
