I am usually not a fan of celebrity chef owned restaurants as they tend to be overpriced and relatively mediocre. While the prices here were high as one would expect in a casino, the meal was absolutely fantastic. While I had a Tempranillo by the glass, I tried a sip of my companion’s house Sazerac cocktail and it was delicious. As an appetizer I had the clams on the half shell. They were middle neck clams which I prefer over the minuscule little necks served at most restaurants. I usually do not prefer cocktail sauce but the one served with the clams was made with smokey chipotle and was outstanding. As an entree I had the Filet Mignon Lousiana. It came with two sizable cuts of filet topped with crawfish in a delicious sauce. The meat was tender and cooked to perfection. If you’re in AC for a special occasion and are looking to shell out some money for a nice meal, be sure to stop at Bobby Flay’s.
