My husband and I ran into the Duck by accident and we had a great time. We enjoyed chatting with Danny the bar tender. My husband said the Ruben he had was the best! Fun little bar!
My go to place. I’ve been going here for the past four years and will continue to go as long as it’s open. Ducktown is well known around the area and very well liked. The food is great, the prices fit well, and the atmosphere is awesome but that’s not just the reason why we go so much. I always go with friends and always seem to leave with more than I came in with. After a night in the city no one ever asks where we’re going after for food, we all just know that it’s Ducktown. I’m not trying to upsell it, it’s the truth for myself and many friends of mine. So as long as it’s open, I will continue to go and love every second of it!
Fat gypsy or bar owner??. Normally this would be not a difficult question to decipher but trust me when I tell you my friends, it is. The definition of a gypsy is technically: An itinerant person or any person suspected of making a living from dishonest practices or theft; a member of a nomadic people, not necessarily Romani; a carny. It is my personal belief that the all of the above apply to the owner/manager of this not so fine establishment. You must ask yourselves, how can one possibly obtain such a large and bothersome abdominal area by eating the repugnant food served at this dump. So many questions…so little time. Skip this place, go to the Irish pub.
Really nice spot. Had a great time here nice place for lunch and drinks me and Debbie’s place.
The Duck is all it’s quacked up to be!!. The Ducktown Tavern is definitely a hometown favorite. Great food, great drinks, great fun and great friends. Johnny X and his staff are the greatest and where else can you go to a party, golf tournament or social event and find a Firetruck full of beer, plasma tv’s and the best sound system on wheels??? Nowhere but Atlantic City and the Ducktown Tavern. If you’ve never been, it’s a definite must when in A.C.
Fun at The Duck. The Ducktown Tavern since it opened has been my local, go to, pub in A.C. For a quick lunch or full dinner. The food is AWESOME and very good prices. The atmosphere is very friendly and full of locals. Must see’s are Andy at the bar during late nights and Sue seems to always be there. Jognny X has definitly done a great job with the place. I’ve had a few parties in the back bar area and we were always treated great. The Duck also holds great event nights like St.Patricks day… WHoa.. gotta see to belive. A must if in A.C.
DO NOT GO 2 DUCK TOWN TAVERN. A waitress spilt a drink onto two of my friends & We were charged for the spilt drink. We questioned the charge and were berated by the manager/owner, who used loads of profanity often dropping the F-word. This treatment was most embarrassing. It doesn’t matter how good your food is! If the service is bad why go back – So, we will never go back & we do not recommend Duck Town Tavern to anyone, as they are incapable of treating customers with respect and dignity. – Four customers lost by bad manners & a dirty mouth!
