  Superb food and above par service. The cheese plate was excellent with some unexpected ingredients. We even had an unruly baby and didn’t get a bit of attitude. The filet special with peppercorn sauce was perfectly prepared and 38.00 for a 10oz filet was reasonable. We’ve visited Italy 2 years ago and I think the food was better here.

  1 of the Top 5 restaurants in the Atlantic City & surronding areas. Classy & comfortable. Expensive yet worth each dollar. Professional yet down to earth staff. Beautiful bartenders. Terrific family & friends that own & operate. Celebrities, local stars, & those who know food, can be found here any given night. Always get a pizza to go. Especially for late nite snack after hitting AC.

  Wow. Surprised, read reviews that were very mixed, mostly relates to service. Parking was difficult as no valet comes outside to take your key or cat and their is no sign. You must go around the block to the back of the building, which is actually the front and go into the lobby and check in with the valet. You then must walk around to pacific ave on the corner to enter the resturaunt. Great decor very Mediterranean. Went on holiday so they added more tables very cramped but still comfortable. Seated by pizza hearth extra warmth was nice. Server was great, the neighboring table had difficulty with their chesty Madonna , who all but dissappeared only to return and apologize only to dissapear again. They arrived before us and were still waiting when we left for their coffee and check. The food was spot on. Had the the carrpacio tuna cold and the carpaccio girasole. Hard to mess up as neither are cooked but the quality of the meat and presentation were top notch. Also had the sausage appetizer and the mushroom rissoto. Rissoto was good bit a little al dente. Would return without question. Very fresh and authentic cuisine. Final note price did not match website menu at http://www.girasoleac.com. They were a little more expensive but not much.

  Excellent food but way more than $$. This is a traditional italian restaurant with multiple courses. Be prepared to spend at least $35 per person.
