Poor customer service. Was in for dinner yesterday night around 6pm and the hostess Lenny was rude. I have never been treated so poorly before and to think this is the person they have greeting their guests. We moved our seats to the bar and the service didn’t improve there either. The bartenders were very slow serving us and the place wasn’t even busy.
Terrible service…. I had terrible service at the place, my friends and I were one of the first customers in the store and we were seated directly next to the kitchen doors and there was nothing wrong with that but our server gave us last priority on his list even though we were his first guests. Everything was extremely slow and he didn’t seem to know anything about Restaurant Week which is an event that Atlantic City hosts every year. Restaurant Week was extended and he told us that they were not participating in the extension but when I went home to look at the list of extensions the restaurant was clearly listed there…We waited a while in between everything including him refilling our water and us receiving our checks. I was very unhappy with the service and even complained through email to the management, but no one even replied to my message or even acknowledged it. It was my first time going to this restaurant and it will be the last time that I will ever enter it as well.
Fun Place. We sat at the bar so service issues mentioned in other reviews were not evident. The raw bar is delish in a laid back sports bar type setting. Will definitely return.
Oysters were awesome. But waiter was horrible couldn’t tell us which ones were on season n almost slipped the wine twice.
Lauren was extremely helpful in suggesting which oysters to try based on our personal preference.her suggestions filled the bill
I ordered $120.00 worth of raw shellfish at 10:00 pm only to be rushed out. They turned up the lights at 10:30 making us feel unwelcome. I can’t believe this casino restaurant was shutting down and shoving us out early. BALLY’S BLOWS.
Good Food (just limited availability). We ate here for lunch on a Monday. Before ordering we were informed they were out of scallops, clam chowder, cole slaw, and chocolate cake. We ordered a dozen Blue Point Oysters on the half shell, and two of the lobster rolls (sandwich served on a split bun) . The oysters were served on a bed of ice with cocktail sauce, lemon, and vinegar – very fresh and tasty. Likewise with the lobster rolls, fresh tasting chunks of lobster that weren’t overpowered with mayonnaise. The lobster rolls were served with french fries and fresh veggies in place of the cole slaw. Our bill was approximately $55 which included iced tea. A little pricey for lunch, but, the oysters are sold individually at $1.50-$1.75 each.
