Love, love, love this place. We go to AC every now and again to shop and eat. This is the place to get the best Mexican food ever!!! There are no really good Mexican places near us, so a one hour car ride to shop and eat for THIS Mexican food is so worth it. The Margarita’s are to die for and the food is fabulous. I’ve never had a bad meal there. My hubby hates Mexican food but loves it there.
Mush. Besides the strong marijuana stench and below average server, the food was a pile of mush. Not authentic Mexican, definately Tex-mex. Crab quesadillas were not even eatable. Canned crab mush. It’s The kind of place you’d be terrified at finding out what the kitchen might look like. Where is Chef Ramsey when you need him?? I can’t believe they are charging people to eat there. Better off at Taco Bell.
Not disappointed. We only eat at Los Amigos for my sisters birthday. Its her favorite so we all head to Atlantic City wind, rain or shine! If you want perfect service with perfect timing ask for Mark to be your waiter. The man is amazing, friendly and knows the menu in and out. I had the burrito grande with beef and my sister with chicken. I really like their burrito but i cannot comment on the rice or the refriend beans. I dont eat either and never have. The guacamole was perfect!Angel had the shrimp and scallop burrito which he loved. It came with a side of salad greens with refreshing relish so he ate my beans and i ate his salad. Match made in heaven!there were 6 of us and with beer and pitchers of margaritas the total bill was $171. Not bad – see ya next year for my sisters 51st!
What happened to this place. This used to be close to my favorite mexican restaurant in South Jersey and I’ve eaten at dozens and dozens in and out of the area throughout my lifetime. The food used to be so good and never disappointed. Unfortunately, the last couple times I went here the food and service were below average at best. Here’s the breakdown of our experience. Ok, about service. The staff was friendly enough, so that wasn’t a major issue. The real problem was the timing and delivery of each food item. Lets see, we ordered our dinners and a salad to split. It took forever to get the chips and salsa but at least we finally got then and that was good I guess. So we ate a few chips, maybe about 5 each, and wow, here comes our salad already. Ok that’s fine I guess, I know that I probably shouldn’t fill up on too many chips anyways. But wait, I’m only half done my salad, only had it for about 2-3 minutes, and crap-ola, here comes our entrees. Dang, now there’s hardly room on the table and I have to sit here and hurriedly eat my salad while I lust for my entree, which is getting colder by the second of course. Talk about proper pacing, in about a 5 minute span we got everything we ordered. (This same crap happened on our last visit too). Oh well, lets move on to food quality. Salsa, definitely not what it used to be. It was average at best. The fish tacos, well, they smelt like stinky feet and had very little flavor for fish overall. Not to mention that the tortillas were wet and ended up being a big mess falling all apart while holding and trying to eat them. The beans were very average and had no flavor. The white rice, even worse, absolutely no flavor, was way under par. I felt ripped off. now for my Girlfriends entree. Her Spanish rice, bland as heck as well. Her bean burrito was all beans and almost tasteless. The cheese enchilada was the highlight if her meal, and well, I mean, how hard is it to make a decent cheese enchilada anyway. That said, it was also pretty average. It seemed like everything we ate was downgraded in quality, had little to no flavor, salt, or spice. The only good item that was half way decent was the tropical salad. It tasted pretty good, except that it was only green lettuces and the fruit salsa on top. nothing else, and it tasted more like a jolly rancher than anything else. So there you have it. Not sure when or if we will give it another shot in the future. This was the second time in a row being seriously disappointed. I mean, I can think of about a dozen other Mexican places within driving distance that way out perform this place. Try El Coyote in EHT, which is my new favorite local. Dos Caminos in Harrah’s and Cuba Libre in the Trop are much better as well. Or how about hitting up one of the many excellent Mexican restaurants in Hammonton or Vineland or on South Street Philly.

Read some of the other reviews and debated going, took a chance and eas above And beyond impressed with everything. Don’t judge it by the outside, we went in, service was best I’d had in a long long time, menu had a lot Of variety, the appetizer we chose (guacamole dip) was fantastic and fresh. Prices were reasonable for the foods quality, amount, and presentation. I wish we had a place this good where we live.
Service and good were excellent, I would come back anytime
