I had high hopes for this place. Our waitress was fun in the beginning. She came over and made a joke saying sorry took me so long I was doing the conga. I like the conga just as much is anybody else. I ordered my food and the lady did not put my order in because she did not think that I could eat all of it. I was starving and my blood sugar was extremely low. After my appetizer I was expecting my entre. After she admitted that she didn’t put the order in I waited almost an hour for my burger. When it came out it was not even the burger I ordered. In the meantime I had to get up and get my own napkins and asked different servers for beverages.
This is a great place to stop into if you want to escape the casinos for a while and be transported to Margaritaville. The place is very nicely decorated and it does feature live music on the weekends. The food is less imaginative, but they are well prepared American mainstays.
Day 1 in Atlantic City after a long walk on the beach we stopped for at Margaritaville for a cocktail as we frequently dine at Margaritaviile in Orlando. It was a very unpleasant experience due to possibly the rudest server I’ve experienced in my 52 years on the planet. The front desk tried to recover after a new employee erroneously told us to sit at the bar after we pointed out that our 17 year old was with us. The bartender was nice about it and temporarily placed us at a standup as he got the front desk lead involved. The bartender made our drinks and had a server deliver them to a table that the lead front desk sat us at. That server was great and told us that another server had our table. We were then greeted by that server who said her shift was ending. Then the worlds rudest server replaced her and told us we were not allowed to sit at that table if we didn’t order food. She tried to make us go back to the standup but we asked for our check, paid and then left. We had been discussing returning to Margarittaville later for dinner, but after this experience there is no chance we will be going back. Most disappointing was that she got a manager involved who never talked to us, the bartender or the front desk. This was ultimately a management failure.
Not with Program. Good enviorment,clean and refreshing.But…..Slow service,average food and servers who seems like they came from a Fast Food establishment….Would not do again….
Being a Buffett fan I was disappointed. We ate at the outdoor bar. Mediocre bar food at best. Take a regular cheeseburger and put a tropical name on it and you have this restaurant. Very nice views of the beach and ocean are the only true pluses in my opinion.
My friends and I went there around the 2 week mark of them being open and were highly disappointed.Service was terrible,food was average at best and staff were thickheaded and tried to save their own skin before we talked to their manager on how poorly the service was.I would only go there for their volcano nachos.Other wise I would stay away.
