Skip the boring over priced casino restaurants and head to New Malaka.We told the hostess I am allergic to shell fish and what we liked and she had the chef make some off the menu special dishes for us!She came up with great suggestions tailor made to our liking. She was very careful not to add shrimp paste. (Belacan)Since then we have been every time we go to South Jersey!
Always like whatever I get there. Decor is off the wall but that adds to the charm and authenticity. The only disappointment is that they rotate desserts now. Not all will be offered every night. I love the black sticky rice with coconut milk/cream (?). Very filling and fattening! Parking is on the side. Be aware of your surroundings like most of AC at night.
