  $$$$. On this occasion we found ourselves in a steakhouse. So we ordered steak. The house rib steak ($54) was cooked slightly under my mid-rare request but even if cooked on target it would still have been just ok. My Cajun rib eye at Mortons was FAR better. MC had filet with barnaise. The highlight of the night, was the Gnocchi tossed with truffle butter made my knees shake! I’ve never had such a tender gnocchi in a better sauce. That said I CANNOT wrap my head around how you can charge $13 for sauted mushrooms and onions or Broccoli rabe. Is it dusted with gold?This place is in no way worth what they charge. I have no problem spending $$ on quality (see Amada, Mortons or Docks) Service is a little stuffy and full of itself.

  Best steak everrrr!. You can cut the steak with your fork! So good. The service was great and wine selection was awesome.

  AMAZING. The old homestead is definitely the best steak house in Atlantic City. It has been around for 200 years serving the best meats and seafood in New york. The family opened up the Borgata location and the food is of the same amazing quality. I recommend the porterhouse steak for two. The porterhouse is very large and includes the best of both worlds (Filet on one side Strip on the other) A great salad at the homestead is the Wedge. It consists of quarter of a head of iceberg lettuce with many toppings and a dressing of your choice. If you go to The homestead, you must try the raw bar. The shrimps and crab legs are gigantic and brought in fresh every single morning
