Pizza loooked good. Wish I’d had it instead.. Stick to the pizza, the pasta here is terrible, overcooked and with an exceedingly bland sauce. Nobody on our party of four finished it. Staff was very friendly but that was the high point. Scallops very overcooked and underseasoned, as were the shrimp. Blandest crabcakes I’ve ever had anywhere. The noise level was also unbearable too.
Go here!!! Local and has a cool little old school bar. Pizza is outstanding. We found it by asking the locals and most of them said go to Toney Baltimore Grill
Surprised!. I have been going to Tony’s for 30 years. My father and mother love the place. On our last visit to Tony’s on Friday evening I was very surprised. The service was OK, unfortunatly the food was horrible, tasteless, unattractive. Pizza was OK. Spagetti had no taste and meatballs were like baseballs and tasted that way too. I had Spagetti w/white clam sauce and that also was terrible, although the italian bread (Tony’s does not make) was the best part of the meal. This is not the Tony’s we remember and next time the family gets together we will go elsewhere.
The seafood dinner was fried and tasteless. Suggest you try the pizza. Sounds like the Italian dishes are their forte.
Fogettaboutit!. Excellent Pizza, I’ve never tried anything else. The yester-year atmosphere is great, feels like a mafia meeting should be going on in the corner maybe?
Great food so so service. My wife, son and I, went for an early lunch. Ordered 2 meatball sandwiches with cheese a sausage pizza and a coke. The food was excellent, they use the same rolls as Whitehouse subs. The pizza was hot and the crust was thin and crispy. The bill with tax was less than $23.00. I gave the waitress a $5.00 tip (+20%). When I asked for a refill, she said I had to pay for another drink, kinda pissed me off, but policy is policy. That’s why I said so so service. For +20 % she should have just given a free refill. Or am I wrong?
Decent pizza and maybe the best in AC, but consider the competition? Service was pretty terrible. And the antipasti salad was awful. $7 for a slice of salami and provolone over yellow bitter lettuce (no ham). 4 out of 10 on a good day.
