I hardly ever write reviews but this one felt necessary. Went to this place with my boyfriend tonight and oh man was I disappointed! The waitress was rude, slow, and overall just not attentive, which was interesting since this is such a small place (which is usually something I like) and there were not many customers there at all. But we went ahead and ordered our food. My bf ordered the Pad Thai which was just a mess. In all the years we’ve been dating I’ve never seen this guy return a plate of food until tonight. He was polite about it and asked if he could switch it for something else and the waitress laughed and said no because he had already tasted it. So we just decided to share my plate. A few moments later the chef came out to our table and asked what was wrong with the plate we sent back. He was so aggressive in his demeanor and proceeded to tell us that if we had never tried that dish before we simply shouldn’t have ordered it. He was so loud and obnoxious it was humiliating! We were still charged for the food and will definitely not be going back. Honestly, it was an all around bad experience with the food + the service. 🙁
Inconsistent food + rude server. We went with a table of 6 my inlaws and hubby and I. we waited for a table…i was told by the server that greeted us, after he sighed and then he said that we should have called…but they were empty. this was my husband and brother in law’s second visit and after that waiter’s sigh. after that, the food service was sooooo slow. and we will not be returning anytime soon.
It’s Sunday of Jully 4th and you need exceptional entertainment Spice delivered. This was the best chew in a long time I’ll be back before lLabor Day. Maybe often
This place is great. The staff are super friendly and know the menu. Dumpling soup is the best. Crispy talapia w/mango salad awesome! Pinappke fried rice is really good. U have to try atleast once
Everything here was fantastic. Soup, dumplings, beef rendang, and the crispy tilapia. The only Thai restaurant in New Jersey I can recommend. Small but cozy, with warm service. (Note: this is not same restaurant as Spice II in Montclair!)
First visit – typical food for a Thai joint. The atmosphere here is great though and may make this place more desireable than others. I’ve had better food but it is certainly of good quality and inexpensive.
Excellent Food and Service. This place is amazing. The most friendly and reasonably priced restaurant that I have ever visited and yea that food is incredible.
