We came to see our friends band, but decided to have dinner first and that was a good choice. Our server was very friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and answered all our questions with her suggestions we had Burratta cheese appetizer, a special appetizer which was jerk shrimp-scallops with black beans and calamari each was prepared correctly and visually stunning. Our entrees were just as good with seared scallops with arugula-tomatoes, Beef brachiole that was stuffed and was melt in your mouth delicious and special short ribs which were intensely flavored with white truffles and crispy pancetta. The desserts were fairly generic and kinda over priced for being that, but since we had such a great time and also continued out in lounge where we saw AM Heroes this was as close to being a perfect night as we can get, Kudos Filomenas
Horrible food horrible live music. Last time I visit this place. 1st the food is overpriced and not what I expected. Cold sauce in my pasta. Steak was like a rubber mat. 2nd the live music from the Pet The Dog band was ridiculous. I felt like I was at an nature happy hour. Multiple personalities and people from the crowd coming in singing. Definitely not a professional scene by far that justify the hefty price of our horrible dinner. Thumbs Down.
GREAT FALL RESTAURANT WEEK MEAL!. We went here during the Fall restaurant week and we were very happy with our meals, Butternut squash soup was full of flavor and the grilled Caesar wedge very nice presentation. We tried the meatball over polenta with peppers, Oktoberfest mussels and both were perfectly sized and we had room for our delicious entrees wild boar with gnocchis and porketta baked in the brick oven for dessert the trio of desserts were very fresh, we took some of them home, we will be back soon.
Very happy. We had our rehearsal dinner at this Filomena’s and we could not have been happier. They had our room all prepared. The servers were constantly there to refill drinks or get anything we needed. The food was delicious! Half of our bridal party was from out of state and said that they would like to come back to NJ just to go eat here again. I definitely would recommend others here!
Christening Luncheon. Very accommodating, everything was perfect from start to finish. Great food & service and plenty of parking.
