Not what I expected. I had read the reviews as well as the response to the critical ones. This was my first time & I felt that I may have to reserve my final judgment after I have tried a few other items. My cheesesteak was below average in that the meat was overwhelmed by the cheese and it made eating it rather messy.While they may have started out with rib eye steak in the end it was chopped up so in cooking that it really did not come through as a better cut of meat. Not sure if the cheese steak is their forte or lunch meat hoagies is their signature sandwich. I will try a regular hoagie on my next visit. p.s. Telling the customer to go elsewhere in response to a negative review is not the way to go for anyone operating in this economy.

Starting to Rip-Off Customers. I have been a HUGE FAN of Jersey Joes from the Day they opened at their old location on 561. However they are now starting to rip the customers off. There hoagies are top notch but going down hill.1. Prices keep going up. I have there first menu from late 2010/early 2011 and about 3 or 4 different versions since then. The price keeps going up on every item. I would be ok with this but keep reading….2. Hoagie Roll Sizes- I have measured the hoagiess. They have shorted their rolls from 12 inches to 10 inches. So not only are you paying more your getting less.3. Size of Sandwiches (meat)- First the first year/2 years, when you got a Jersey Joes footlong you could barely put away an entire hoagie yourself and often had left-overs. I am a bigger guy and I known this. My gf also had same problem. Now I can eat a Jersey Joes hoagie with no problems. Less Meat/Bulk to the sandwich.So here’s my equetion.More Money + Smaller Roll + Smaller product in sandwiches= Jersey Joes. He built a quality product and is not sneakily making everyone pay more and get less. Go to Casa’s on 561 in Voorhees down the road and get a turkey hoagie from there. Compare how much meat is on their turkey vs Joes. Not even a comparison.

Excellent! cheese steak ordered exactly how i wanted it. and the taste was out of this world. staff was just awesome.second day ordered egg plant parm sandwich. omg!!!! simply delicious!!!!!!the roll can make or break a sandwich. they are right on with their rolls and food.cant wait to go again an try another different sandwich
Heathermere customer. Great italian hoagies! Good for a number of reasons, lean meat, good roll and romaine lettuce. We’d recommend them heartily.
Mac. The best Hoagies in South Jersey… My favorite is a Chicken Cutlet with long hots an sharp provolone cheese…Just the best from the roll to the insides. Also I hear they also sell Crazy Susans Cookies…Wow !
